Yorgo's Foods pulled all of its Greek-style food items off shelves Wednesday, including two products made for Trader Joe's, after a routine sampling found listeria in one of its products.

Yorgo's Food recalled a variety of hommus flavors, baba ghannouj, salads, falafel, tzatziki and grape leaves — totaling over 40 products — that it sold in grocery stores in New York and New England.

I went with a Vermintino for Sardinia which clocked in a bit less than CNY 500, which given the quality of the wine and destination is a pretty good deal.

We ordered house made ricotta with cranberry, lobster and shrimp ravioli, scallop served on a risotto, and a fried polenta. Perfect consistency with just right amount of salinity and with a bit of the cranberry relish it was a really well balanced dish. They arrived warm perhaps from being tossed on a cold plate or waiting a longer for their server than they should have.

When it was time to pay, they the dish on the bill. While it might seem low for Bund, from where I sit it's also REALLY low on value, and NOT on par with the other JG restaurants around the world.

Perhaps I just went on a bad night, but if you going to celebrate something and really want to eat on the Bund, pay more and go elsewhere. Every time I left the restaurant very satisfied and happy. I like the pizzas and the pastad and the starters, especially the homemade cheese starter.

The full list of products can be found on the FDA website here.

High-level take away: Go to Mercato if you want a late night meal with a bund view for less 100 USD per person.
